About

Halle Ponton is a pop, rock, and alternative artist from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, known for big hooks and shimmering 80's-inspired synth textures. Drawing from nostalgic influences while keeping a modern edge, her sound blends bold guitars, layered synths, and strong melodies into songs that feel expansive, polished, and built to last.

She released her album Is This What Real Life Is? in 2023, a project that marked a major step forward in her artistic evolution and helped solidify her place in Canada’s alternative pop scene. The album showcases Halle’s ability to pair thoughtful songwriting with dynamic production, and has resonated with listeners well beyond her home province.

Backed by her band — Seth Baker on guitar, Rowen Mitchell on bass, and Chris Kostuik on drums — Halle has become known for a high-energy live performance and a strong onstage presence. She has toured Western Canada three times and performed at Departures Canada Music Week in Toronto, steadily building a loyal audience through consistent touring and memorable shows.

Across all major streaming platforms, Halle’s music has surpassed 450,000 streams. In 2025, she received Saskatchewan Music Award nominations for Pop Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, recognizing both her recorded work and growing impact as a live artist. With momentum continuing to build, Halle Ponton remains focused on expanding her reach, refining her sound, and connecting with audiences through bold, immersive pop music.
